Hello parents,
As you already know, this year we have started PBIS at St. Clare. Along with it, we are using a school-wide ticket system to reward positive behavior. Twice a month, the entire school does a drawing for prizes. In addition, the sixth and seventh grade classroom does its own drawing in the classroom.
I pick ten, sometimes a few more, names out of the ticket bucket. Those students then get to play bean-bags to see what kind of prizes they are going to receive. Right now the current prizes are candy, the option to have Rue and Gary (my gerbils) come in for the day, and/or an extra recess for the entire class.
In order to make this even more worthwhile for your children, I would like to increase the variety of prizes that the students could win. If you would like to donate prizes to the cause, they would be more than welcome. Some ideas/suggestions that you could send, but not limited to, would be:
You can send items to school with your children or bring them in youself and say hi. If it is a baked good or something similar that will only be fresh for a day, feel free to contact me to find out what day we will be having the drawing. Thanks for your help in making our PBIS prizes more enjoyable.

- Snacks- granola bars, fruit snacks, cookies, baked goods, etc.
- Candy (to have a larger variety to choose from)
- Juice boxes
- Fun school supplies
- Small knick-knacks or toys
